Our cookie policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique identifier that is sent to your computer or mobile phone (referred to here as a "device") browser from a website's computer and is stored on your device's hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. Many sites do this whenever a user visits their website in order to track online traffic flows. Cookies record information about your online preferences and allow us to tailor the websites to your interests.

We currently use Cookies to record your country of access and details about the device you are accessing on, to speed up future visits. We do not use cookies for tracking you, or recording your actions.

The ChargePlay website uses Google Analytics to help analyse how users use the site. This analytical tool also uses 'cookies', which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google. This information is then used to evaluate visitors’ use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity for ChargePlay.

ChargePlay will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source as part of our use of the Google statistical analytics tool.

If you do not want a Cookie to be stored on your hard drive you should select the appropriate options on your web-browser. Please refer to your web-browser provider or system user guide for detailed information on disabling cookies. Please be aware that disabling cookies may prevent the correct operation of some of our online services to you including viewing of paid-for content.

For more information about cookies, including how to change your browser settings and find and delete cookies on your hard drive, please visit www.aboutcookies.org.

Internetworking Protocol Addresses

An internetworking protocol address ("IP Address") is a number automatically assigned to your computer on connecting to the Internet. ChargePlay will make a record of your IP Address and may use it for restricting video delivery, administrative, security and statistical purposes.

Links to other sites

This website may include links to other sites. We make every effort to provide links to high quality, reputable sites but we're not responsible for their privacy practices or, site content, or the services they offer.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time so you may wish to check it each time you submit personal information to any ChargePlay website. The date of the most recent revisions will appear on this page.

All information covered by the Data Protection Act applies equally to those to whom you ask us to deliver items and we apply the same stringent levels of security and protection to their information as we do to yours.
